Cleavers gets its name from the small green berries on the leaves that make this plant stick or cleave to anything that passes by. Cleavers earn the highest regard of many herbalists around the world for being a lymph cleanser. The lymphatic system is a network of delicate tubes throughout the body that drain fluid (lymph) that has leaked from blood vessels into the tissues and emptied back into the bloodstream via the lymph nodes. The lymphatic system maintains all fluid balances in the body and absorbs fats from the gastrointestinal tract. A good lymphatic cleansing is vital for immunity. it helps prevent lymphatic buildup and lymph toxins that can contribute to breast cysts, tumors, glandular fevers, prostate infections, and urinary tract infections.
