Feverfew

Tanacetum parthenium

Feverfew is not a tea to drink while reading a good book! On the contrary, Feverfew is very bitter. It has natural antihistamine properties making it a natural medicine for hay fever, allergies, and allergy reactions. Histamines are also linked to headaches and migraines so Fever Few is a good herb to have on hand. It is a good herb for heaviness, melancholy, or sadness. It helps women during their special time, relieving so many issues associated with PMS. Feverfew has anti-inflammatory properties. Feverfew can help with bladder and kidney complaints. It is a bitter herb so it is also good for the liver. Fever Few makes a great flea wash for our furry friends! It makes a good skin wash for humans as well! Feverfew is a small flower resembling a daisy. It is in the ragweed family and grows close to the ground. Fresh leaves are not recommended if you are allergic to ragweed. It is a favorite to Cedar & Sage and you’ll find it in our Little Greenery’s Head to Toe. Please do not ingest Fever if you are on blood thinners.
