Rose buds

We don’t really know how old the rose is. We have fossils that date it back more than 4000 years, we know in Rome it was thrown in front of a victor returning from battle, it was made into wreaths and worn in hair. Today we use rose buds in lotions, creams, and oils. If you put rose buds and petals in a bath it will give you the spa effect! Rose water is great for the skin bringing its vitamins C, B, E, and K to nourish skin cells beyond the surface. Rose is uplifting and known for lifting a mental state and spirit out of mild depression. It is very comforting to the mind, body, and soul. Use Rose buds in your DYI projects to make a body scrub, massage oil, or hand cream. Medicinally rose buds and petals promote blood circulation, and increase bile production which will in turn detoxify the body. Rose is antiseptic, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory.
